My humble advise:

Komodo 4.2 MP
Komodo 4.2 SP

It is also possible to use 4.5
I see no reason for 4.2(if it is not 5 and not 4.1 then 4.5 seems to me more natural and you can see Junior12.5 in the rating lists as a significant improvement relative to Junior12)

Of course Komodo 5, if Houdini 2 is passed. But I don't like "Komodo64 x.x" naming at all..

The whole Komodo naming thing is so stupid for a chess engine....

But of course it's the author's choice after all regards,

The question is, passed at what time control? It is very likely that the new Komodo will pass Houdini at the longer controls. say 40/40 or perhaps the new 40/20 with ponder on, perhaps even 10' plus 10", but not likely at the blitz levels.

So the new version of Komodo has to be much stronger as Komodo 4.1

One proof with very long time controll
125min / 50 moves + (60min+5s)
Ponder = ON

**Link to match results**

With that pgn, BayesElo gives a LOS for Houdini over Komodo of just 94.33%, and the error margins greatly overlap, so unfortunately that's not enough games for a statistically valid conclusion on the elo difference.

And yes, I'm aware of how hard it is to run many games at such a long time control...

I am quite sure, that with longer time control You need less games e.g. random things are not meaning so much. May be total time used for test is the key!?
