I've been creating a program that allows one to interface any chess gui with any web chess board, which as you can imagine might be quite handy. Here is a video of my first prototype in action playing on instantchess just for laughs. Few bugs need to be scrubbed out but other than those, this works great. Works with aquarium, fritz, arena, few others too. Let me know what you guys think of this approach, cheers.

That looks VERY interesting, Jay! I'm looking forward to it!

A suggestion: interface it with FICS as well, so we could run our engines on FICS directly from arena, for instance.

Also, as a mod, I'm sorry but I have to ask: does your user name comply with the forum's policy that is to use real names as user name?

Yes indeed. I was just playing in FICS earlier no problem. Still need to tweak some things.

Here are 2 update videos for flyordie.com and chess.com... Let me know what you all think, cheers. Still some bugs to fix, but im getting much done and faster than I thought. In about a week this should work with every known program and website in existence.

This looks interesting. Does this program hijack the mouse cursor in order to input the moves? Could this program be used to include a chess program that only runs in its own GUI (such as Zillions of Games) in a local engine tournament or on FICS?

Yes of course, that is the main purpose of why I am making this... To work with any GUI. =)
