You should use the one called "discocheck_4.1_sse4.2.exe".
If it doesn't work, then you can fallback to "discocheck_4.1.exe" (it's slower and compatible with CPU that don't have SSE 4.2 instruction set).

Theory and practice sometimes clash. And when that happens, theory loses. Every single time.

Okay. I'll switch to the new version.
Do so too for ProDeo 1.85 if still possible.
Hi Ed,
can I download ProDeo 1.85 without that huge opening book?

Graham.
Hi Graham,
Version 1.85 is without the big book-cooking file That was a one-time release to introduce the new feature valid for all future version. If people want to keep the feature they will have to move the *.CHT files to newer versions.

The 791mb download fails part way through (usually between 140 and 150 mb). I've now tried four times without success.
I'll have to stick with 1.83c until I can find a way to get your new version.
