Openings in PGN and EPD format

Bobby Johnson asked for opening positions in a thread in the Tournaments and Matches sub forum ( http://talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50599 ), and I realized that it may be of some help to newer members of CCC to collect into one location some of the opening suites (in PGN and EPD format) that have been shared with the computer chess community. What I have assembled in a few hours does not include every suite, but it does cover several of the major suites and several others that should be useful for engine matches. Please feel free to share any that I have missed or forgotten about.

In each download, there is an information text file that contains a description of each suite, the people responsible for creating the suite, and a link to where the suite comes from (in most cases). Also, I give a description and link for the PGN Selection tool (Frank Quisinsky and Volker Annuss), Kirr's Opening Sampler (Kirill Kryukov and contributors), and engineTest.epd (created by Norm Pollock).

As I wrote above, feel free to post about other suites that I have missed. Also, feel free to post about opening books for engine testing of various formats (Polyglot, Arena, ChessGUI, ChessBase, Shredder, etc...). Personally, I have spent a lot of time over the past few years either looking for or learning how to create opening test suites. The information is scattered about. This thread may be of use to people in the future.

I use Gaviota Starter by Miguel B., 2400 positions +- 10 moves.

Also LSpositions, by Stefan Phol, LS rating , 500 positions 8 moves.
