3D printing chess pieces. Specifically those of Nemeton3D

Post by Stan Arts »

Hello,

As I am reasonably happy with how the chess pieces of my Nemeton3D GUI turned out,
I would quite like to have this as a tangible set in real life.

But because I am completely new to 3D printing I would like to ask for advice.
Or even someone willing to give this a go for me.

How difficult is it to 3D print chess pieces?
I see 3D printers of wildly varying prices. Would a 200 euro printer be able to do it?
What sort of material should I use? If there's even a choice in that.
What else should I look out for?

Thanks!
