I know it is a bit early as the patches are just starting to roll out, but I am curious if anyone has benchmarked any of the major engines to see what impact the Meltdown patch has on NPS during heavy Syzygy access on SSD.
Obviously, I'd be interested in hearing from both Linux and Windows users that ran tests before and after. It is important you state your CPU Model. I'm considering buying a new computer so I'd be particularly interested in tests on the CPUs released in the last couple of years.
If anyone has run such tests, I'd be grateful if you posted your results.
