For your superb new Launch4J compiles of Java chess engines !
Work on Fritz GUI without InBetween or xjre library (like for some Excelsior Jet compiles) !

A fantastic work !

You're welcome. Smile

Jim.

p.s just uploaded a Launch4j compile for Eden 0.0.13 by Nicolai Czempin that will work in Fritz.
Eden has rudimentary uci support, but better to use Wb2Uci (included).

Just do a search on the page for 'Eden' - It's in the 'Java Engines' section.

Just uploaded Launch4J compile of Jchess 1.0 by Tomasz Michniewski which will work in Fritz with Wb2Uci (included).
Jchess is also capable of using more than one core.

Hello Maestro Jim !

Thank you & thank YOU ! Laughing
If Bagatur 1.2c (the strongest Bagatur) will be also compiled with the new settings in the Launch4J compiler..............SilvianR will be HAPPY !

Maestro Jim , for sure this nice chess engine - Eden 0.0.13 of Mr. Nicolai Czempin - should be a much stronger chess engine without a nasty bug : it sacrifices pieces - in an useless manner - in early endgames ( when it has positive scores) ! No matter if it is installed like UCI or WinBoard engine, if it is the original . jar executable , launch4j executable or Excelsior Jet .exe.
In the below position , Eden has a bishop versus two pawns advantage.........and suddenly it sacrifices in vain a bishop on f2 (see also the graph , please ).
That is a pity ! I think Mr. Czempin can solve quickly this bug. But I don't know if he is interested in his little Eden !

Have a nice day , Maestro Jim !

Actually Bagatur is the first one I tried to get working in Fritz with Launch4j.
I've found a workaround using two protocol adaptors >

e.g bagatur-launch4j.exe > polglot.exe > wb2uci.exe

Download from my homepage. Version 1.2c included .
