Where is the new Spike ?????

Post by M ANSARI »

I have not heard from the Spike development team for quite some time. What is the deal? Anyone have any information? It is a shame that the latest engine is kept private as I think it had a lot of potential.

He probably retired. Maybe he figured he can't do anything to make spike greater than that of Rybka.

Ralf Schäfer posted the following in the thread about Fruit and Spike about a month ago.
To the topic: There are still some new features and bugfixes that we want to implement for the next version. Unfortunately there is only little spare time at the moment, so it will need for sure some months. The next release is most probably not free.
I'm pretty sure neither of them has posted further information - it's only logical since they don't expect to have it ready anytime soon. It'd sure be interesting to know what features Ralf was talking about.

Nonsense. They said they will probably be going commercial with
the next release and it will last some time.
