Playing against engines in Arena: how to hide engine analysis.

Post by pepechuy »

Hi to all.

I am beginning to use Arena to play against engines. For the moment, just trying it out.

The GUI is showing me a lot of information that I should not be seeing during a game.
For example, while thinking it shows its current analysis (depth, evaluation, main line).
After moving, in another window it displays the PV.

¿How do I hide all that info?
I have not found a way. I guess it is something easy, and I am just failing to find it.

Greetings.

Hi,

After loading an engine right click on its name and from the popup menu select Configure engine analysis output. Then select Mainlines. The rest is self-evident.

Hi.

Thanks, that is the info I needed. I was only looking for global configuration options, not for every engine.

Greetings.
