Adam's collage puzzle

Post by JuLieN »

On his blog* (last update : june the 9th!), Adam has an interesting background picture : a collage of prominent figures of the computer chess scene.

It was heavily protected against grabbing, but after a lot of tricky hacking I managed to rip it. Here it is (if you think it brakes the forum's layout I'll replace the picture with a link):

Here's the game: how many names can you put on those faces ?
A tip : play before Gerd gets a chance to see this thread. ;)

My own score is pretty low: only 18 names...

44.
**[edit] 45 as Mr Donninger has a size that i had to use a magnifier to see. :D

And indeed it was very tough to get the image from the blog.
I had to right click the image(in Firefox) and choose "Show background image".

After his son's birth they've asked him:
"Is it a boy or girl?"
YES! He replied.....

Congrats! :) (on a second look, I now get 21 names... still far from your score)

Safari is less straight forward: I had to click on "inspect element" and go find the right picture...

I would upload the original collage, but it was casualty in my conversion to linux. By the way, the individual image sizes are semi-random. I did make sure that some of the most prominent people of CCC were in the larger squares, but that was all.

At the moment, I am playing 'find Julien'. I think that I forgot to include your image in the collage.

No problem: you put two Eds instead. He's well worth it! :)
