Nay... The list is only for a 1-CPU engine... it is meaningless because Komodo single CPU has no chance against a SMP version of Rybka, Critter or Stockfish...
Until a SMP version is released... jumping the gun at this time is too premature.

This is simply wrong.
Komodo 1 cpu has clearly chances against a smp version of stockfish and it is even ranked higher than part of the smp versions of stockfish in another list.

Of course Stockfish improved since version 1.6 but Komodo also can improve so your conclusion is wrong and here is your conclusion:
"Until a SMP version is released... jumping the gun at this time is too premature. " is simply wrong."
Note also that komodo is only one engine in the list and houdini or Critter support more than one cpu.
Uri, the lastest version of Stockfish is 2.1.1... would like to know what are the chance of Komodo against the latest versions of Critter or Stockfish running on a Quad?
So I am not wrong? Until there is a SMP version... one cannot say that Komodo is better... translating a program from a single CPU to a SMP can be tricky... unless there is some copying of another SMP engine... would that be allowed?

My point is that you cannot get the conclusion that until there is a SMP version once cannot say that Komodo is better..
Komodo of 2011 1 cpu is clearly better than old stockfish 4 cpu and
it is possible that new komodo of 2012 1 cpu is going to be better than new stockfish 4 cpu even if komodo does not come with a SMP version.

So your saying that if a match of lets say 100 games were played with Komodo 2.03 single cpu versus Rybka 4.1, Stockfish 2.1.1, or Critter 1.2 using 4 cores that Komodo could not win 1 game. Sorry but I think you are wrong here. Clearly there is a chance to win a game, chances are lower to win the match however there still is a chance.
