Anand compares 1995 chess programs to 2012 chess programs

There is a great video of 5-time world champion Anand talking about how computers helped him prepare for his world champion matches in 1995 and in 2012. He says what five people could analyze in 3 weeks with a computer in 1995; in 2012, a computer could do in 2 minutes by itself. Today he just stares at the screen trying to understand and remember the big picture of where the computer says the position is going. Today he accepts what the computer says without doing the analysis himself. He says that until 2006 he helped the program by tweaking the values of the pieces. Starting in 2006, he could not help the program produce better results. He says that in 2006 the computer said in position A white is better. But in 2008 the computer said black is better in position A. So one analysis is wrong but it did not matter because in both 2006 and 2008 the computer gave him clarity and confidence.
