They don't care if your account is computer only or computer + human assisted. Also note: use of multiple engines on the same account is allowed.
I'm not terribly interested myself since I only run Arasan on ICC and don't strive for the highest possible rating by using other engines/books.

I came to share the same news. ICC has 30-day trials if you want to test the pool. I'll join the pool, but I'm afraid I'll battle only komodos and stochfish since most chess players don't develop an engine
