Hello,
is the adjudication of a position evaluation (1:0, 1/2:1/2 bzw. 0:1) only influenced by Arena GUI respectively with the use of endgame tablebases e.g. Nalimov too?
EXAMPLE: an endgame position like: Kd1, Bb1, Be7 - Kd4, Ne4 that is won in 71 moves (if White begins) and Nalimov EGTBs are used http://www.shredderchess.com/online-che ... abase.html
Is such a position between two engines (that support Nalimov tablebeases) played on further 50 moves or recognized (immediately) by Arena Interface as "drawn game"?
(condition: a valid path to Engines-Engines Management etc. exists)
Best wishes,
Norbert

A tablebase draw will be adjudicated as a draw as soon as such a position is reached on the board, if the correct TB adjudication setting is switched on.Norbert Raimund Leisner wrote:Hello,

As far as I'm aware, Arena uses Gaviota TBs for adjudication purposes; at least that's how I have it set up.

If Arena adjudiction triggers, game is halted.
