The original version of gull without syzygy tables is the one in TCEC.

Thanks Dan, I realize that. I am wondering what version was selected for the chess.com tournament. I am wondering who created it, if it's fully tested, etc.

A pity, that Roc stopped its development just when syzygy was about to be implemented. It was the Gull fork with more progress accumulated, ELO wise.
