Visually watching the youtoob video was very instructive for me in setting up Citrine to work with Arena ...

....

I think this fact alone makes the Citirne a verifiable future COLLECTORS ITEM - Steve B please take this to our council for verification.

If you want one, please tell our sponsor ICD Youir Moves Chess and Games that you want one and that that their long time customer and friend Mchael Byrne sent you there and that you deserve a discount.. cc Me on your email and I will make a pitch that you deserve some sort of a discount since you were kind enough to read my post ;>) ( I will try my best, there are no guarantees - but I can only help you before your purchase - not after).

Long Live Citrine Regards

Michael
I´m spanish and not undestand VERY perfect all your words, in especial the lasts paragraphs .. a lot of thanks... for all post..

... perhaps if your chooses other words but simple and absence of verbal declines, is possible that the better text for me ...

but I understand the main content. You love CITRINE, you loves the chess, and the computers PC, as well as the chess software. Also you had seen the whole potential that (it) Has this possibility... (citrine+pc)

really brilliant. and cheap

I hope that NOVAG not "close" this options in news citrines... NOVAG not do this comunication for this use... but it´s posible..

bye. Oliver, since spain.

PD: I´m thinking in a future Driver TO CITRINE + Pocket PC... this options is powerfull and portable options, with editable books and save games... in a pocket pc... ( alain zanttecha have goods programs about it... near )

Very NEAR to immortality CITRINES forever ;-)

If the Citrine can talk to the PC via wireless, that will be the utimiate unit in my opinion. But, the problem is, you don't know if you are playing with the Citrine or someone trick you by changing to a stronger program/level and got smoke badly.

Citrine could caught cheating by using Rybka in a touranment regards,

:D

hello, gregory... I forgot say you one options that maybe like you a lot...

maybe it´s posible DO a driver for a "pocket PC" ... this is a fast CPU 400 Mhz or 500 Mhz ARM... similar phoenix products... (revelation and resurreccion models levels) and if somebody do a driver for this "smalls computer we can have a "portable" citrine with some engines with books or games to see on citrine..

not need any cable TO pc.. only a pocket pc.. similar hand PALMs , but with a software free...

Alain Zantecha have some programs to use a DGT board or previus novag computers.. I think that maybe it´s posible a driver to CITRINE and to this use.

bye ... oliver since spain.

Yes, I can live with a Palm interface. It would be nice. I never find enough room on the desk where I use my PC.

Need a lot of room on my desk regards,

Yes ... it´s a good option.. you can see how citrine play versus citrine, if you selecto mode auto. or mode DEMO... not need move the piece...

and when you are play versus engine pc. with citrine.. you can "press" space in computer pc, and wngines start thinking ( change side game ) ... do some moves, and press space again you can play with the original color... game...

this is fantastic...

on other theme:

I´m do two ( interestion I hope ? ) videos about LCD and board citrine see here:

I like your star game... but in the middle game if I was you.. i played more fast with rooks... rybka is very agresive... ;-)

I like more style of TIGER 15... it´s more human mode... but rybka is "imposible" in middle game...

you do a good change of queens... but your move bisop two times... and rybka have iniciative... rooks in open columns... or semi open.. not good back you onws pwans... if it´s not the end of the game..

but good game ;-) after all.

Ok.. I´m do 2 VIDEOs ( number I and number III, II-IV are backups... not good see ) for you can see this: ( in one video you can see too: Le Grande Citrine of Bryan ;-) )

Here we can see how many time need serial port to comunicate with CITRINE, ( ARENA software ) send move, and ( twice send ? ), 1 or 2 seconds need to re-send moves...

In the fisrt video, is very long, and the first half not good see... but in the end of video, you can see moves, and responds in monitor and LCD...

video I is better see that video II. ( = )
video III is better see that video IV. ( = )

the server upload video youtube, only permit 320x240 res... and in this resolution.. uff

By the way, that with red mark is a Mirror in which a sector of the board of the monitor bounces... (to check the slight time that takes in sending it moves)... in time real.
