Hiarcs 11.1 Combinations doesn't seem to like the Knight sac at all, although all the alternatives also don't score very high for White.

After 13.O-O, two best moves, from Black's viewpoint, Hiarcs thinks Black is now clearly better but it does not prefer Zap's 13...Qa5:

Engine: HIARCS 11.1 Combinations Ic (64 MB)

After 20 plies Hiarcs thinks 13...Rc8 is the best way to go. What do other programs think? Will this line find its way into theory, will Fritz's move be played in Leiden in May or will it disappear?

After 13. 0-0
