Movei 421 probably does NOT score so great versus Fruit 2.0 and Slow Chess Blitz Wv 2.1

Maybe your 4 6 10 personality can score better.
In my tests in 1+1 time control it scored better than the default against fruit2.0 after 30 games.

result after 30 games was 18-12 for movei
For comparison fruit2.0 was leading 15.5-14.5 after the same 15 positions against the default personality.

Note that the default here is not exactly the default but the personality with candidatefactore=3 and other changes.
final result at 1+1 was 50.5-49.5 for fruit2.0
(better than 53.5-45.5 that I had in previous match)

Can you make two different personalities one with progress 10 10 10 and the other for progress 4 6 10 and incorporate it with your candidatefactor. For instance personality with progress 10 10 10 would be candidatefactor 3 and personality with progress 4 6 10 would be candidatefactor 2 etc..

I really don't know what personality you have included with candidatefactor 3 but it is NOT the strongest versus Fruit 2.0 or Slowchess Blitz V 2.1

Here is the latest test against Fruit 2.0 which confirm what you stated before that candidatefactor 3 is NOT the strongest:

I used candidatefactor 3 together with the changes in pawn values that I sent you and together with progress 4 6 10 that I did not send you in my last test when movei lost 50.5-49.5 against fruit2.0.

In all my tests against fruit2.0 I used candidatefactor 3 and

I used movei as uci engine so I could use personality of progress 4 6 10
another possibility is to add progress 4 6 10 0 in the changes file and to use movei as winboard engine.


I tried to do just that, and it did NOT accepted my personality changes as winboard engines. Tell me what I did wrong.

I have done several tests at time control of Blitz 5/1 and 10/1. but I never tried to match Movei versus Fruit at Blitz 2/1 which is almost the same time control as Uri computer at 1/1. I started this new match with Progress 10 10 10 and to my surprise the score is dead even after 24 games out of a match of 50 games

PS: Uri, now I know why you are getting such good results, because Movei is one of the best Blitzer at faster time control, but what are your results in matches of 5/1 time control
