Hiarcs 11.1 has one of the finest commercial opening books out there and I am glad that my hamble opening book for Rybka is holding it's position :D

I suspect that many automatic book based on pgn may be enough for rybka to get better place than other programs.

I do not express negative opinion about your book but
first place for rybka is no proof for the quality of your book.

My opinion is that rybka with movei403's book can also get first place(possibly with smaller difference from the second place) and movei's book is simply generated automatically from one pgn of white and one pgn of black and there are only wins for white in the pgn of white and no losses for black in the pgn for black so hopefully there are not many blunders there(I used mainly computer games and games of strong humans).

Your statement is correct but I want to add that with a stuiped opening book it will performe worse....you do remember my first release which was not fully optimized and cleaned up and some people started to attack me and recommend to drop it because it's harming Rybka's performance....somehow they were right, but when I released the second edition of the book they suddenly shut up :D
Try to build an opening book under the Arena GUI and you'll understand what I mean 8-)

Trying to build a competitive book under Arena is pure masochism.
