I just ordered this Bluetooth SERIAL adapter...will post results after testing ..

it took a while as I was in unfamiliar territory... but I AM PLEASED TO INTRODUCE the WIRELESS NOVAG CITRINE hooked to an 8 CORE CPU PC through the ARENA GUI using the RYBKA chess engine.

Wireless Novag Citrine in Action

(sorry about the crummy video - but it the video was made with handheld digital camera in one hand "capturing the action" while using the other hand to "make the action" so to speak...)

wireless wegards ;>),

I will test distance next...

I needed both male AND female bluetooth serial adapters - and also f/f gender changer (null modem adapter) to configure the male. The male connects to the Citrine, the female connects to the PC. I used the PC adapter as the master. Also you must use the Novag serial settings as noted here :

Novag Star Diamond to PC Protocol - English

Also the commands noted in the file above seemed to pertain to the Citirne as well.

So far it works easily 30+ feet away ..will test more tomorrow. I suspect the Star Diamond may also work in this fashion.

I added another video

more to test regards,

Michael

OK ¡¡¡ it´s fantastic ¡¡¡

runs very well, and it is a lot of distance...

the truth is that it has to be very amusing to make the tests, and careers (run ) from a place to another...

I like a lot your video.

bye, Oliver since spain
