time was game/15 I wanted to see how gfruit plays and so have been watching the games "wild" is how I would describe this engine but it comes up with some nice ideas. I may need to take notes.
That has to be the most atrocious endgame play by Spike I have ever seen. Spike basically gave away a won game after totally outplaying Fruit in the initial phase of the game. I really would look at the possibility that maybe a hash bug might have affected some of the moves, because they seem totally wrong. Usually Spike is especially good in positions where there are loose pawns and it has a good initiative, I am very surprised at the play in this game.

I have seen spike do this before in the end game. Seems it
go in a certain direction and just can't pull itself out.
It is very strong in the opening and first half of the middle game.
Of course one game proves nothing, but proving anything was not my point it was the *way* this engine loss. Just weird. I am playing a event with several high level engines and have already caught some mistakes of mine with hash tables being too high and causing swap filing but not in that game spike just played bad and gfruit took full advantage.
