The problem is they never get players who know how to play computers.
With one exception but was far past his prime. The first thing they need to know is how not to play them and it seems that is the crux of the issue.
Only Kasparov could take on computers tactically and with varying results.
For other mortals they need a good understanding where computers haven't any and be able to apply it.
You have to forget about chess as it's usually played, that will end in disgrace unless a Superman appears.
