I am not sure if any of you read one of my previous posts. Telepath already got a very decent book...

Some people like to collect. For some, collecting has an aspect
of history about it. The guys that collect the computer boards can

I have stated several reasons in the past, but I'll state a few here.
1) People can use your engine to prepare for it in a tournament.
2) People can clone it.
3) I think engines above a certain strength shouldn't be released for free!
Thanks for your explanation, Charles. I can now kind of understand why that is, I do happen to agree with some of your points and disagree with few others. :)
