Will the computers use pondering(ON of course)?
What will be the hardware for them?

Without pondering i think a time handicap of 1:10 is too much for these relatively(in comparison with top programs like, Hiarcs,Naum, etc) weak programs.
After his son's birth they've asked him:
"Is it a boy or girl?"
YES! He replied.....

Not only that, but will they be so drole as to use a human to make
moves on a normal board for the computer? Such human interfacing
can cost any program an easy 30 secs per move. A DGT board would
help.

Yes it's a draw. And in fact it's very easy to see it and i wonder how the player with 2248 ELO missed it. Perhaps time trouble?

I needed only to look at the following positon:

[d]4r1k1/4bpp1/r2pbn1p/2p5/pp2N3/P2P1B1P/1PP1RPPB/2K1R3 w - - 0 24

From the Delfi game to see that white was not having a good day in the petroff today. Black's queenside attack is clearly well on it's way. But by the time they reached this:

[d]8/5ppk/3p3p/2p5/p1P2P1P/P3K2P/7r/4R3 w - - 0 36
It was pretty clear it was over with best play.
