At the end of Computer Chess Cup 2009 hosted by "Scaccomatto 2008", the international chess week in Turin:
two handicap matches between first and second classified at Chess Computer Cup 2009 and two human players:

Delfi by Fabio Cavicchio vs Milan Mrdja
Leila by Carmelo Calzerano vs Ljubomir Ljubisalievic

Time Control:
100' + 30" (human)
10'+3" (chess engine)

Will the computers use pondering(ON of course)?
What will be the hardware for them?

Without pondering i think a time handicap of 1:10 is too much for these relatively(in comparison with top programs like, Hiarcs,Naum, etc) weak programs.

I was smart enough not to express opinion without knowing the playing strength of the humans.

My guess is that delfi can get 2800 fide rating when leila can get 2600 fide rating against humans.

reducing the time by factor of 10 can reduce the rating of engines by 150-200 elo but it is not enough.

Hehe,two programs from the average spectrum of the computer chess universe smashed the poor humans,one of the 2 programs hasn't even been updated since my grandmather's wedding day

Trying to calculate Wael's age using Leila's age = x ~ 3

So that means waels Grandpa got married three years ago..

Time to clone a 15 year old son.. 1 day..

Time to find him a girl.. 2 days..

Time for them to clone them a kid called Wael ... 1 1/2 days..

Waels age = ( 3 x 365) - (1+2+1.5) = 1095-4.5 = 1090.5 days..

You must be a genious.. after all you are the younges M.D ever.
