Some have told me they're having trouble downloading from the Thinker site, so I've put Thinker 5.4a on the CCRL public forum for now as an alternative.
Once Lance or Kerwin asks me to remove it I will.

I have problem to install it in my fritz GUI
is it an uci engine ?

Perhaps I will be excited if a new GUI comes to the town.

It's a Winboard engine. Go here:

And click on the "Info Pages:" drop down to the left to find out information about particular chess engines.
