It's a Winboard engine. Go here:
http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/html/enginesindex.htm
And click on the "Info Pages:" drop down to the left to find out information about particular chess engines.
I just noticed that the Thinker description page is wrong. It says "No" under Xboard, but that is not correct.

P.S.
People will be in a rush to collect this one. It has the beginnings of a pv, score, etc.:

Code: Select all

C:\chess\winboard\thinker>MP-x64-Inert---Thinker.exe
Thinker: 5.4A (NAM 035, 1500, for 64-bit architecture, 4 threads) Copyright (c) Kerwin Medina
Thinker: uie pid sco lme ueh ars ans uml
Thinker: Freeware. No warranties whatsoever.

You need to use the wb2uci adapters.

Just another engine....
Perhaps I will be excited if a new GUI comes to the town.
In the meantime I call my girls friends...
Fern
Strange enough Fern,I am excited with Thinker as if I am expecting two models to come spend the night with me and even more :D

Hi Dann, when Leo said xboard, he refers to the version for Linux, not winboard.

I'll put my Thinker 5.4a Inert folder in CCRL public for you to download.

Yes - sorry about that. However, it shows you how you can set up the others also.
If you want me to set one of the others up for you, just let me know.

Cheers, Graham.
