Here are my findings all on 2.33GHz Core 2 duo laptop
Deep Junior 10: 7 seconds!
Rybka 3: 10 seconds
Deep Sjeng WC2008: 10 seconds
Fritz 9: 16 seconds (good result!)
HIARCS Padderborn 2007: 1 minute
Zappa Mexico II: 1 min 13
HIARCS 10: 2 min 1
Fritz 11: 2 min 52 (F11 is shockingly bad at tactics)
HIARCS 12.1: 3 min 28 (How fast is your laptop Harvey?!)
Deep Shredder 11: 4 min 23
Naum 3.1: 9min 29
The big shocks here were H12.1 & F11. Naum 3.1 is thankfully replaced by Naum 4 - I don't have it - but from what I've read it'd probably be quite quick. Great result from Deep Junior 10, looking forward to v11...

Are those times when the GUI prints the analysis line, or when you see the engine first looking at that move ?

Re: Test Position--too easy for over priced commercials
It's when the GUI prints the analysis line in F11 interface.
Re: Test Position--too easy for over priced commercials
Here, Hiarcs 12.1 on a single core at 2.9Ghz, takes 1:22 to give it +1.12 initially, but then 2:39 to give it +5.89
Multi-cores really helps no doubt

Indeed, lightning fast for Hiarcs 12.1 on 4 cores, impressive
