We don´t know if it´s a total reference number of ALL versions of Arena, or about 2.0...in all ways in both cases is a great one number... is that a success, truth?
the community that writes in the forums is more small, certain it is, but the community that READS information about chess is bigger than it that you are thinking, alone you think of the quantity of federated players and that they want chess software. Only in players of ICC + playchess you have enough interested in a very good software and that it is gratuitous... I think that the total users is possibly bigger even that this number, due to the discharges P2P... not direct of the web. It is relatively simple to copy the software and it is not very heavy.
