It took all of two days for me to discard it and go back to 1.1. First it doesn't report any of Crafty 22.7 and 22.8 anayisis or move data. Secord, configuration is scattered all over the place with no consistent logic. When I reported here about the Crafty problem, aside from the several "me too's" and Bob Hyatt's reponse that Crafty had not changed anything, there was dead silence.

I downloaded the so called Arena 2.0,but never run it,I knew before switching to it that I'm gonna run myself into a big trouble....It's becoming a tradition for Arena,every newer version is more broken than the previous one....

I agree. It must have 300 users and 69,000 abusers. Normally the users are more than the abusers but for Arena the reverse is true.

For what it's worth those figures are slightly lower than over the same period immediately after the release of Arena 1.1.

Arena's big advantage is the amazing tournament module and the almost perfect compitability with all the winboard and UCI engines....
These are the two main reasons why I am still stucked with Arena all these years....
