if spike is dead it is a shame. spike 1.2 has been a staple of the freeware engines and is used as a measuring still since it was released. it and fruit 2.1 really started the super strong freeware engine movement.
i wish the best to the programmers and team involved in its development,and thanks to them for all they have done.
