Setting hash size for thinkerUCI in arena

Post by govert »

I have set up Thinker 5.4a with Arena, using some kind of UCI port (SP-x86 Inert---ThinkerUCI.exe) which I found on a forum (Maybe it was here, or on CCRL).

Only problem is: doesn't seem to be able to affect the hash size.
Any ideas?

Actually, everything is OK.
The wrapper size is 2 MB, and that is what is reported in Arena.
However, the real thinker process is usiing the correct hash.

I prefer to use Thinker inside Arena as wb engine direct and not with an uci-adapter!

Do you have a winboard config file I could use?

All configurations are done in Arena:

Type=winboard
commandline parameters: (Kommandozeilenparameter)
hashsize=10 threads=2 for 512 MB and 2 threads
or
hashsize=9 for 256 MB 1CPU
