Blueberry takes a while to find the correct move. But at least it can find Kb3, using only 5 men Scorpio's bitbases.

Eelco
Gaviota, with 5 pc gaviota tablebases finds it in 15 seconds. This is an example where the engine does not understand what is going on but sees that evertything else is a disaster. That is how the tablebases help: quickly discarding the options.

Is Kbb3 supposed to be so hard to find? Crafty finds it instantly without endgame tables of any kind...

It is about the evaluation. See the original post. I do not think that engines without 6 pc tablebases will be able to understand this position. It is very difficult and deceiving.
