First off, you must have "created" all the engines that you intend to use.
Then from one of the menu headers at the top, you select "new tournament".
Then you have to enter all the details and load the engines. I suggest saving the engine parameters.
The manual should help.

Cheers, Graham.

Hello graham,

I have tried looking for tournament and it has it under one header but it will not let me set up with an engine versus engine but only with a engine vs. human game.

thanks again, steve

That sounds strange. I'd try uninstalling and then reinstalling.

If you live in the US- pm me and i will give you my phone number if you would like to call me. We can go over it that way. With what you need to know- it would take way way too long typing back and forth. Just a thought.

I wonder if he is trying to play F10 v F10 - this can't be played this way.

Otherwise you select File/New/Tournament

Yes, if that's the case there only the shout-feature can be used, and it's quite limited.

Yes,
Many thanks!! Later on i was thinking of writing a post on this as the manual and your suggestions did not work.I think there maybe a difference in the header listing between the original fritz 10 guis and the viva media releases. The only thing is I am not certain what section to do such a post?
