My account at playchess.com converted to "guest" today after 6000+ games, and I cannot access the Main Playing Room. I have two valid serial numbers, and neither works! I still have my account, apparently, but have the conversion to "guest".
Email support from ChessBase seems to be down here, as given up by my ChessBase9 help...

I think the serial expires after 1 year of usage. Forget about playchess support, they wouldn't listen...perhaps you should register as guest account, log in and talk to helpful sysop there if there's one.

Yes I think the serial expires after 1 year. You should try to flag one of the sys ops and ask. Harvey is a regular here and on Playchess, and he has always been very helpful.
