sorry but i have trouble with you GUI, its not easy to use and install engines.
i am very confused with this GUI, and the colors are simple but to use very difficult.
Can you not made its very simple to use and more better colors...?
Hi Engin,
as Ray says, ChessGUI is very easy to use.
Several people were already using it when no documentation was available.
Changing colours of GUI, or board, or pieces is also easy.
Read the readme and help files and ask specific questions here.
Some ChessGUI user will surely answer you, if I don't.
- a recent bug would not allow the UCI parameters of new engines to be edited
Matthias.
OK, I see now that the window to edit UCI parameters opens automatically during engine installation.
I did not intend to do that. I shall supress the window in a bugfix.
It can confuse ChessGUI newbies.
Windows on demand are surely better.

Engin has a good point about the colors though - pink + cyan is a very unusual color scheme for a chessboard, and probably not a good default.
I have stated the real problem several times at various places: I am colour-blind.
I depend on others sharing their colours, but almost all just use default colours.
To share colours, anybody can post these lines from debug file:

ChessGUI 0.162a is out
- The window to edit UCI parameters will not open automatically anymore during engine installation.
I have found a mini bug in ChessGUI 0.162a concerning UCI engines.
Maybe all UCI engines are immune to it, so I will not make a full ChessGUI update now. Here is an updated exe file, if you cannot wait:
