Is anyone going to fix this? Wait a minute.....there's a Service Pack. Let's try that. O.K. that fixes some of it........

I am already in TV, but I do not sing, just analyze issues.
A loss for music I guess....

Now you see 7 had a beta test. Lot's of people had said stuff. It was not just me. So we tested it. Collaboration together......that's the answer......

The engine got stronger....the GUI got weaker...... Well you can't have everything......

Four updates later it was OKish. Maybe it was the chess server stuff but if it had been why was the stuff in 4 still in 7?

Wait a minute.....were we testing a chess server? What about the other stuff? Ahhh.....compensation anyway....I have a reward. Lifetime membership of.........a chess server. Hmmmm.....

You have to admit it's still quite pretty......(since version 4)

On the 8th day machine just got upset......

I was not going to do Fritz 8 Fernando. I was going to stop there because that was where nice things stopped for me.

8 is a special moment in time. It is the moment where the GUI goes in the bucket and only the engine matters anymore.

Sure you are right on that, but that is not relevant to me. I do not use, ever, databases. BTW, I suppose the examples you put there are just a 0,00x% of the total database.
I use programs just to play them: no study of positions, no engines tournaments, no analysis of games, nothing
I just play and that's the reason frills are important to me. In this field I think CB is to date unbeatable.

My best
