Looking for endgame starting positions.

Hi,

What I want is not endgame test suites, but a big collection of "equal" endgame starting position so I can run test tournaments only testing the endgame. The largest the better.

I have looked into Dann Corbit server, but there are so many epd suites that I am loosing into so many files without any description.

Other option is to make myselft, but dont know exactly how.

Hi Gerold,

I have noticed this in games between Rybka 3 and Deep Shredder 12. I have seen allot of endgame losses by Shredder 12. Odd because Shredder is known to play some good endgames.
