Hi All,
From Rybka forum, I have downloaded from the link provided by Prima for stockfish 1.6 with slightly smoother scaling DC - w32.
When I run in Arena 2.0.1, I encountered the following error message: "Error: "CreateProcess" This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect"
Would appreciate your help, please. Or maybe a new link where I could download a running stockfish 1.6 w32 (strongest version)
Thank you,

I had a similar error.
Solution was to install a dll from the internet.
The system may say which .dll is missing.
kind regards
Bernhard

Stockfish 1.6s DC 32bit is the 1st compile = smooth scaling one 328 KB (336,384 bytes)..From Dann comments and testing from others it seems the best for 32bit.

Perhaps you need Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) installed on your PC to make Dann Corbit Stockfish 1.6s compile work or else you get a error installing the engine.

I think it has to do with installing a C++ service pack update.

Nope, the sligthly smoother scaling one (333,824 bytes) is the best.DomLeste wrote:Stockfish 1.6s DC 32bit is the 1st compile = smooth scaling one 328 KB (336,384 bytes)..From Dann comments and testing from others it seems the best for 32bit.
