Re: XBoard Seek Graph
The Seek Graph is now fully dynamic, adding and erasing dots as the corresponding seek ads come and go.
For this, you have to use the option -autoRefresh true in addition to -seekGraph true. (Both ar persistent, so you only have to do that once). On ICC and FICS WinBoard knows how to make the IS report the ads removal. You will have to make sure to set your 'seek' variable on the ICS to get the new adds. All this data traffic is kept out of the ICS window.

Re: XBoard Seek Graph
Where can I download the source for this version (for Linux)? Google does not seem to find it for me. If I google xboard 4.4.2 I get pointed to a version with a modifcation date of 12/9/09.
Thanks,
Roy

Re: XBoard Seek Graph
The direct link to this branch of the repository is:
http://hgm.nubati.net/cgi-bin/gitweb.cg ... /seekgraph
Click the uppermost 'snapshot' to download soucres as a tar bal.
In general, you should go to http://hgm.nubati.net , click the link to the git source repository, and select XBoard. At the botom of the page you get then is a list of 'branches'; now that I have lerned to use git, for complicated enhancements I usually start a new branch, and only merge that into the main line when it is reasonably finished and debugged. This is the 'seegraph' branch; it branches off from a very recent development version that has nerly everything (except graphical promotion popup, which is aother unfinished feature with its own branch).

Re: XBoard Seek Graph
The XBoard version now also shows the ad text on hovering the mouse pointer over a dot.
