How long until your engine sees Bh3? (It takes a while for h5 to fade).
I am wondering if any engine sees it before ply 19.
Rybka took about 1/2 hour on my hardware, and IvanHoe about a minute.

Yes, It's interesting to note that Ivanhoe took only about a minute while Rybka 3 took atleast 33 minutes.

Ofcourse someone could come along and suggest if you tried Winfinder.

There certainly is enough difference between the two programs even at highest level where it is commonly thought that top programs agree on most moves.

Great minds think alike as they say but it's not the case here.

How long until your engine sees Bh3? (It takes a while for h5 to fade).
I am wondering if any engine sees it before ply 19.
Rybka took about 1/2 hour on my hardware, and IvanHoe about a minute.
Naum 4.1 gets it after about 10 minutes (it likes it very early on, then demotes it to 4th, 3rd, 2nd and likes it again at around depth 18-19).

How long until your engine sees Bh3? (It takes a while for h5 to fade).
I am wondering if any engine sees it before ply 19.
Rybka took about 1/2 hour on my hardware, and IvanHoe about a minute.

I don't think they see too much difference at all. In MPV mode here is 10 minute analysis on Octa 4 Ghz of both FB 1.0 and R3. Ivanhoe doesn't support 8 cores so I can't test it, but I find it is almost a copy of FB 1.0

One more thing, I don't think Bh3 is decisive either way. I know Rybka likes it, but I think this is a type of position where Rybka doesn't handle well. Isolated pawns are usually not evaluated well, also 2 knights with a queen are usually under evaluated. I am not saying Bh3 is not the best in this position, but I tried playing it through and it seemed very drawish.
