Hi,
1. A game in Ingo's rating list is running around 16 minutes with 2.4GHz machines. After my test with Junior 2010 the engine switch often moves after 20-30 seconds.
2. In SWCR Junior 2010 is 25 ELO stronger compare to Ingo results. I have around 1.200 games.
- after my test with Junior 2010 x64 I believe the 32-Bit version is a little bit stronger (around 10-15 ELO). In different endgame situations the x64 version seems to have bigger problems. I think it have to do with the nalimov support.
- a game in SWCR need 40 minutes, with 2.8GHz machines. Junior 2010 need a little bit more time, say it in the sentence before.
Ipon and SWCR ratings are with ponder = on.
I think the 25 points weeker on Ipon is absolutley OK after all what I can see.
Now Junior 11.1 is available.
We should wait of more results.
Blitz, IPON, CEGT, CCRL other results with w32, x64 and so one.
Junior 2010 x64 is 15 ELO weeker as the w32 version after 450 games I played so far compare to the own SWCR (same time control). Also an interesting point.
I think more important is the playing style of Junior. ELO strength is not all what's important. The next point is the support we will get. I am sure the support will be 100% better on Hiarcs chess.
Let us wait of more Junior results.
So far we can look on Ingo's list, he do a great job for us, THANKS !!
I am very happy that Junior is now available on Hiarcs chess. Reason for me is the that Junior will get now a professional support.
Best
Frank

I know that some Nalimov issues have been fixed in the new 11.1.

Hi Harvey,
this is great.
If I see any problems in SWCR with Junior 11.1 I can mail the games, no problem.
I start with Junior 11.1 in around 10 days.
Deep Fritz 12.1.0.0 is on first in my testing list (older)
BTW:
We public the game Junior 2010 - Rybka 3 in SCHACHWELT newspaper and got a lot of comments. The readers like the game. A lot of people made analyzes.
One of the best games I ever saw.
I added the game for around 2 months in TalkChess.
If you have time you should replay this game.

Agreed. At least we get a strong engine with an attractive and unique playing style.Frank Quisinsky wrote: I think more important is the playing style of Junior. ELO strength is not all what's important.
We can't expect every new engine that comes out to be challenging for the number one spot.

My apologies that this branch got split from the main Deep Junior 11.1 thread, but when I split that thread to get rid of an unnecessary comment, these posts went with it.

This has to be one of the most brilliant computer chess games ever played, I would love to see a top Grandmaster like Kasparov annotate such a game

It was my action that saw the original thread split.
This is because, rather than deleting any posts at all, I'm moving them into the moderation archive so that my fellow mods can see what I'm doing. That way I can't be accused of anything subversive.
It's just an unfortunate consequence that replies to removed posts go also. If a perfectly valid post is affected in such a manner, I copy it back to the poster affected via PM, inviting them to repost if they wish.
Where a subthread can be restored, it is, as in this case.
Cheers,
Graham.

Hi,
the problem is that a Grandmaster need a lot of time for such an analyses. Such an analyses must be very exactly or an other Grandmaster find a mistake and public the information
The problem Grandmasters has.
Believe me, I try it ... means to get such an analyses.
The Junior team have good contacts too. Maybe Amir can try it.
