I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I've seen a number of engines have this problem with very fast time controls (1+0 for example), including Rybka 3. What time controls were you using?bigo wrote:Using both Fritz 10 and Deep Fritz 10 GUI both versions of stockfish consistently lose on time, anyone else have this problem?

With Fritz 8 GUI, Fritz itself will constantly loose on time at fast rate like 1m+1s. It's been a long time since I used Fritz 8 GUI for fast time controls so I don't recall for other engines. It seems that the Fritz 8 GUI induces lags, at least on the machine I was using then (Athlon 1.4 Ghz without SEE).bigo wrote:15 0BrandonSi wrote:I've seen a number of engines have this problem with very fast time controls (1+0 for example), including Rybka 3. I remember I "solved" the problem back then by installing Fritz on a RAM drive. If I remember correctly I could even play 1m+0s without losses on time this way.
Maybe you could try this and see?
