Re: Topalov vs Anand Game 10
When I saw yesterday's game, I was disappointed.
But Anand is going to fight for the full point today.
Cheers,

Topa played Qd2..So, even he wants to fight- he could have retained the initiative dxc5. Should be a good, interesting game.

You were not alone in your disappointment. I was disgusted with that endgame, but I believe it was caused by time trouble.VP wrote:When I saw yesterday's game, I was disappointed.

Re: Topalov vs Anand Game 10
Anand may try to make use of the semi open d file and double pieces.
It think this should be a long positional battle, without too many major blunders.
I would predict, Anand wins on move 63
Edit: typo

Yes it was caused by time trouble.
Anand of the days gone by used to blitz
But with the internet, now even his playing style is slow.
And his age is now catching up with him...

I wish I could say the same, but I feel the tide is changing in Topalov's favor.VP wrote: I would predict, Anand wins on move 63
