But why do you care?
I thought you don't like Rybka... :D

All in All you are right!

My new favorite engine is FIRE(Bird).

Fire understand (Rybka not in bishop) all underpromotions, and Fire have more endgame knowledge than Rybka. This are for me important aspects.

And all in all at last, the strenght of Fire 1.3 will be ~ egual with Rybka 4.

Do you think it's honest? Do you think Norman is a genius? Would you buy it?
So how do you think he keeps in improving it Terry :!: :?:
For sure,me and I suppose you,we can't....so he must have enough knowledge to be able to do it....
Dr.D
You tell me? A combination of what everyone else has done before he grabbed it including the work which had been done by Vas and others and tinkering around with it but I don't know how much stronger it really is do you?

1) Yes.
2) It's a possibility. With all due respect to Norman though, a bit unlikely.
3) Probably.

Peter
Good for you but honestly I'd steal it rather than give a con-artist money.

If this is real a Rybka 4 Beta, then I cannot see why this Thing should be stronger than Rybka 3!

I hope I don't cause a maelstrom here but hasn't the author of Firebird been caught distributing cloned engines in the past? Please correct me if I am wrong. That is why I have never downloaded Firebird or any of it's relatives.

Technically, he created engines that violated the GPL. One of them he even sold. But if Norm says that he won't do that stuff anymore, I'll give him another chance.

BTW, Fire's relatives are not affiliated with Norman in any way, shape, or form. Well, I suppose he did contribute a bit to the RobboLito codebase.
