I am working on it as we speak. I am sick and tired of commercial GUIs sabotaging the winboard protocol. Of course, UCI won't allow any learning capability and other minor things, but at least any use will be able to play a game or analyze something in, say, aquarium.

Zappa did not crash.

In each case, the pop-up error said that there was an exception in the chess engine binary that failed.

Very interesting. I love these stress tests, it is a cheap way to find problems. Maybe the reason that it does not depend on the positions is because of the uncertainty of the SMP algorithm.

I am redoing some with Naum also, so that tablebase calculations can give perfect scores for many of the problems that are not already resolved to mate.
