yes its true, i am try this in the past too, and i get a slower speed with TT then without, also using SEE move ordering slow up the qsearch, but ordering the right captures first reduce the tree in qsearch, so i using only SEE but not TT, istead of this i make a Eval hash for the faster evalution if there same position re - evaluate again and again.
