Hi Matthias,

no plan what are hash keys in combination with transpositions ...
So I have to learn it.

Transformation check:
Create from a PGN database an EPD database with the end positions. No its very easy to delete the transformations too. I don't know how Norm Pollock solved the problem with his EPD tool but it works perfectly.

Thanks for your answers.
Hm, hash keys ...

Often I am thinking ...
Frank, its good that you never do programmings. I learn cobol (school times), turbo pascal (school times) and visual basic for application (in excel) in the latest years but never I have big interest on it. My problem is, if I do such things, I never will find my sleeping because I am sure I try to make all perfectly ... and this is my problem :-)

In all these programming languages I have 800 ELO so far :-)

But I am good in testing and tell bull shit in chess fora :-)
Here I am an expert.

Best
Frank
