This one has the same formula as stockfish 1.6s. I think I changed to many things at once and did not do enough testing on the new formula attempt. At any rate, I guess that this one will do a lot better.

Couldn't hurt to test it some.

Dann. Sources you posted are _exactly_ 1.9.1 sources.Dann Corbit wrote:This one has the same formula as stockfish 1.6s. I think I changed to many things at once and did not do enough testing on the new formula attempt. At any rate, I guess that this one will do a lot better.

I don't care a lot this gtb / ss modification activity on sf 1.9.1, but please DO STICK to GPL and post modified sources together with binaries.
I am sure you understand to defend GPL is already difficult as is, so please don't make it worse then what already is.

Re: Smooth scaling stockfish 1.9 (using the old formula)
I opened the archive and extract the sources and they seem _exactly_ 1.9.1, I could have done some mistake, but the sources in the archive to me seems the vanilla 1.9.1Dann Corbit wrote:The sources are contained in that archivemcostalba wrote:Dann. Re: Smooth scaling stockfish 1.9 (using the old formula)
Probably, I composed the archive incorrectly and pulled the original sources instead. I will take a look.mcostalba wrote:I opened the archive and extract the sources and they seem _exactly_ 1.9.1, I could have done some mistake, but the sources in the archive to me seems the vanilla 1.9.1Dann Corbit wrote:The sources are contained in that archivemcostalba wrote:Dann. I made a correction to search.cpp. File has same name and locationDann Corbit wrote:This one:Dann Corbit wrote:Probably, I composed the archive incorrectly and pulled the original sources instead. Wow. That was obviously an honest mistake; perhaps a response such as the following would have been more appropriate:mcostalba wrote:Dann. Sources you posted are _exactly_ 1.9.1 sources.

Dann, the sources in your archive do not contain your change. Would you please fix this mistake?
