Computer are still weak against the Kings Indian Defense

Post by Robert Flesher »

Computers are still weak against slow building attacks and close the position far to fast. Often with terrible consequences!

No thanks! This was a fast game in which I lost on time but kept playing. All engines mangle me 95 % of the time. But, long term planning is still a weakness that can be seen even in our modern monster engines.

Yeah but there a general consistence out that rybka 4 doesn't play nearly as well as rybka 3 did vs human players. its like vas took out some knowledge in rybka in order to make it stronger vs other programs. M ANSARI also said that long term planning doesn't work vs rybka 3 atleats not for him he said.

An impressive game. I am surprised that white closed the queenside. This is a clear weakness of Rybka. Well done.
